Another day

Well here we are at day three. Ive handled so many challenges in my life. Being an infantry solder, migrating to another country (I'm from Canada) and basically starting all over again from scratch, becoming an emergency service volunteer and all the difficulties that go along with that. Ive attended thousands of hours of college and further education while at the same time building a career. So may people that have come and gone..and some forever. I dealt with so many things and always succeeded..but quitting smoking? I HATE THIS! :) If I can make it to day four AND come out of this negativity, I know I'll be okay. Tick tock...tick tock..
Come on Eric, snap out of it as you know you can do it. Take deep breaths and take a day at a time, remember baby steps first and then all will be at your beck and call. Here comes day four all positive and smiles.......go for it buddy

You're right mate. I'm battling. I think it's just that moment in time when my brain has suddenly realized that the nicotine train wont be coming into the station..and it's getting anxious

Eric I was a smoker for 53 years and have been free for 320 days today. My wife has just had major surgery for 2 new knees, and loving my wife as much as I do I have been through the highest stress I've ever been through, without a bloody cigarette.
Harden up young feller, HTFU.

Hey Bill44..thanks mate. I'm searching for my cement pills right now. :) By the way..well done on the situation with dealing with your wife's knee operations. I hope she's doing well.
Be strong . every day gets better. The gains far outway the pain now.
