Day 13, another successful non smoking day. I tell myself every day how proud I am of me. It has been like a roller coaster ride with days 3, 5, 7, 10 and 12 being the most challenging. I tell myself out loud that I am a non smoker, I go for a couple of walks each day. My latest challenge is fighting the thoughts in my mind, so i stay strong by reminding myself how much I wanted to stop smoking. I was a smoker for many years and have quit cold turkey.

Feeling proud of yourself is one of the luxuries of quitting.

Achievments like 1 week, 1 month, 1 year without a cig are all reasons to be proud.

You will have more testing times before it gets easier but it DOES get easier if you hang in there.

Best of luck.

Hey Suze - I am day 3 of no smoking and I'm afraid today feels harder than the last 2 days, just like you. I don't know if it is because I am at the office and I don't have anywhere to go every hour, but battling a bit.
