Really struggling this morning..

Well I am on the dreaded 3rd day and already I am really struggling, I have a big assignment I have to do for uni today (due Monday) and I am stressed to the hilt..perhaps I chose the wrong time to quit smoking when exams and assignments are due.... I just can't stop thinking if I just buy a packet I will be ok and I will smoke today while doing my assignment and quit again tomorrow when the assignment is done....
Any suggestions???

Get a nicotine suppliment, (patches or tab)for emergency use and chew normal chewing gum and drink ice water while you do uni work. I have been a non-smoker now since 17th January. Still get craving but I remind myself that I survived without a cigarette yesterday, last week etc so will be okay today. Have a coffee and remind yourself that you managed yesterday and can do today too.

Hey amberd, just get through today and tomorrow will be better. My 3rd day was by far my very worst. I promise you it get's better. Hang in there. Just say NO to the next craving, and you will get there.

Hallo Amberd....I agree with the Dr feelgood!!!!! You have made it to day three! And Actually quitting when you are already under pressure is the best time to quit! it means that you will be able to stay quit ...no matter what! You can do it! Your lungs are getting clean.....and that last bit of nicotine is almost out of your system...which means if you don't smoke today....all that nasty nicotine (that little monster will be out of your system forever and ever!!!!!) You can do it....and to think you are truely soooo close!!!!!! don't smoke do it for yourself!!!! I believe in you!!!!
Everytime you feel tempted!!!!! Think about what you are giving up ....for a stupid....gross .....disgusting puff of poison......YOU WILL BE GIVING UP YOUR LIFE.... Just don't do it! YOU are worth soooooo much more....than the addiction to a stupid product designed to kill you!!!!
Choose life!!!!
Now and every other time! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
