Week 1
So I'm 1 week quit today and I feel kinda weird actually (in a good way I don't know).
I know now I don't need the nasty sticks anymore even though I think about them on occasion (but very rarely).
The cravings are still terrible and I still get the nasty feeling of my head rushing around and my eyes wanting to pop out - but I now know that's due to slightly elevated blood pressure, and I'm learning whenever that happens I need to close my eyes and just relax a bit then that feeling goes away. :)
I'm so proud of myself for getting so far and only on Champix too - no other NRT!
Good luck to everyone on their quit journey, whether they're just starting out or are weeks, months, years down the track. It is a constant battle, but eventually we'll win the war! :D :D
I actually quit before my quit date and I quit on day 5 of champix.
Side effects are about the same as what they state they are, I've been getting vivid dreams lately and sometimes find it hard to get to sleep.
Also been waking up a lot earlier than what I used to, but I make that up during the day - say like I get a craving, I try and ignore it and have a nap. Only if it's a really bad one though. A nap helps me also cause I got a slightly elevated blood pressure too.
But everyone is different with how they get through their cravings. You just have to find what works for you :)
