So fed up with bloody family!
I'm so trying my hardest to stay and quit and I am doing great - however, my bloody family isn't making it easy for me, with their little snide comments, it makes me miss the days when I could have a cigarette and escape the room they're in.
Although I know having a cigarette isn't going to do me any good, on the contrary it would do me a great deal of harm... I just wanted to express my frustration out in words, instead of bottling it up and then end up caving in to the craving.
So over the way my family makes me feel! :( :(
aaah AnythingsPossible - hang in there. I know it is easy for an outsider to speak, but, for now, just roll with the punches. remember every single day that you don't smoke you are getting stronger in every way. Physical, mental and emotional. For now, screw them and concentrate on you. Hang on!!
That's really sad to hear, support is the one thing we all need, however you have the upperhand on them, you didn't give in and have a cigarette so see how far you've already come. I know it's hard but take a minute and a deep breath and then pat yourself on the back and give the birdie to those upsetting you!!! well done
Lol Tracy J, as much as I want to give them a birdie, it would just make matters worse.
I just thank the heavens that there is a website like this that I can vent my anger and no one will think any lesser of me - mainly because they don't know who I am HAHAHA :P.
But thank you for your kind words everyone, it makes your journey so much easier (like a weight has been lifted) when you have people going through the same boat as you, knowing full well how you feel.
They only want you to fail so they feel better about their own situations in life. Ignore them. I know its hard, Ive been in the same position. At the end of the day WE get to turn around and make snide remarks to THEM because we effin rock, and have the motivation and strength to make personal changes for the better! Stick at it!
