quiting is hard but positive reinforcers help

yep day six of my quit experience ,mornings are thge hardest .It seems to take me ages to wake up with out reaching for a smoke .This I know will slowly get better .I reward myself every three or tywo days with a couple of slices of cheesecake ,for not giving in ,and going to the shops to buy smokes ,Have to moniytor my weight as well I suppose now .but that I can work on .Im so pleased as I usually crash on day three .so have made three more days .Doubt it would have been achieved if i were not rtaking some kind of nicteen replacement .chose the lozenges over the patches as they tend to make my skin itch in humid weather.
best of luck and good planning to everyomne doing the i can quit journey .

Keep going....I made it this time after 30 years of smoking and just as many attempts to stop. And as for the cheescake...I would rather be a bit overweight than underweight from some smoking related disease... Once you kick the habit and feel comfortable, you can address the weight gain (if any)

thankyou celine for your great words of support and practicality .im feeling more confident i can do this and with words of support its great again many thanks.annie
