Day 2.

Well it is the morning of day 2...and I am using patches...I found that I was restless last night, tossed and turned and had some strange and vivid dreams and have thus woken up tired and sluggish. As I sit here all I can think about is my morning cigarette and I am finding it really tough - the thoughts of arhhh just one won't hurt, it will just help wake me up.......But luckily for me I don't have any in the house and I am still in my pyjamas so hopefully by the time I am showered etc I will be back onto the correct thought road of not needing one!
"Just one" will always hurt you. Don't give in to the nasty cancer sticks! You owe yourself so much more!
Stay strong and good luck! :)

I failed....but I do have a plan of attack - to be honest I was on patches (first try) and to be honest I still felt like smoking. I spoke to my Dr and he is going to put me on Champix - even he thinks the patches are not as good at Champix. So I will take my first tablet on Thursday - my son has picked my quit date - makes him feel part of the effort!
So, hopefully champix will do the trick!
Champix works the charm, I'm on it as well I took 1 a day on docs orders and by the 5th day I was off the smokes. And now I'm 1 week smoke free :)
The patches etc.. are only there to help control cravings, but then again it all works differently for everyone.
Champix has a higher success rate for quitting smoking than anything else, and those are my doctors words lol.
But still good luck to you! :)
