I have been smoking for about 50 years. I have had many attempts to stop. I am determined this time to never put another cigarette in my mouth ever again. I'm day 14 on the champix and day 1 off the smokes. I have thrown everything to do with smoking in the bin, nothing around to tempt me. I have had a 90min massage, which was just what I needed and now I'm off for some retail therapy. Spend the smoke money on somethig else.

I must say no cravings so far so I'm very excited about that.

Wow, excellent to hear Lulu. Keep up the great work and take it one day at a time. I've just finished day 5 Champix, so still smoking, but you give me strength and hope. Good luck

Lulu -I like you had a habit for over 50 years - today is 300 days ($3600)since I quit - I've been tempted and I have put on a couple of kilos but: I certainly won't be going back to that horrible habit anymore. My method was cold turkey but if you need some replacement therapy then go for it - Have you tried water ice blocks available from supermarket in plastic tubes? - they're great, and a lot cheaper and healthier than patches and gum.
