Hi all! Seven weeks today as a non-smoker and the last couple of days the cravings have kicked back in. Am holding strong, but would like to know will they ever go away for good!!

Yep, you're at that 50 day mark where the cravings do come back for a lot of people. Hold tight for 10 days and it should be a smoother ride from that point.

Well done on your 7 week mark by the way! A great achievement that takes a lot of inner strength huh!

Weird huh? As Mickey said - day 50-60 the cravings come back with a vengeance! Very strange. Hang in there - it gets a whole lot easier after that. I still get the odd craving - maybe once or twice a day (now 155 days) - but they're very easy to overcome - distract yourself - don't whinge about not having a smoke - remind yourself that you're a non-smoker - remember how bad you wanted to be a non-smoker at the beginning of your quit journey? Stay strong and know you're getting better every day. All the best. :-)

You've come so far! I quit about 10 years ago the first time, and it took me about 10 or so weeks before I felt really comfortable. Everyone is different, but you are there! Keep it up and soon you won't even think about it :)
