Well day 14 has come and gone, patches are keeping the wolf at bay and I can honestly not imagine ever going back to being a smoker. The best way I found to stick with it is to not tell anyone that you are quiting that may be negative towards your efforts. A big thank you to everyone for your support, it is invaluable.

Good on ya Anzac71, 14 days!! I find that with anything in life you'll come across someone negative, be strong and don't let anyone keep from your goal!!

Anzac! I read your post after I posted mine. Well done by the way on day 14. You are so right about staying away from negative peoples responses etc. I felt great after day one, no more horrible hacking cough, embarrassing it was. Take inspiration from the people on this forum, I do, and it works for me at least.............

I just have to say one more thing, it is in response to Freak Boy. He is right! be careful when you feel on top, just be careful okay? Take an imaginary Baseball Bat and belt the cravings you have out of the park. Or better still, spend some money on yourself.......
