6 MONTHS!!!!!

Well people one more day and it'll be six months for me since I last had a smoke, never thought I'd make the sixth day when I first started (probably alot of people thinking 'who are you?). Admittedly I haven't been back to this forum for a while but I guess that's a positive in that I've moved on from smoking........... still drives me nuts from time to time that I could murder a smoke I have to admit, especially when things don't appear to the best that they could be, but I soon lose the urge to smoke, thankfully.
The past six months have seen massive changes in my life, apart from the obvious giving up smoking, I've finally taken an interest in my health, I'm going to the gym, eating better, I feel better, I think I'm probably a little less tolerant of people than I used to be, but I blame work for that it's been pretty horrible at work for a while which I think may be coincidental with the smoking thing and not having the crutch there has probably made me homicidal on occasion, I have used my new found grumpiness to stand up for myself more than I used to, which is good.... 'leave the cranky dude alone!'
Apart from that I have nothing thrilling to report, great to see so many people using this forum though and I wish all of you the very best of luck. Hope the old teamsters are still going well, I know that Tiger and Winner are.
In the words of The Terminator.......... I'll be back! (not smoking though!)

Excellent work meanie, wahoo 6 months, gotta be proud of that!
Good to see your got you've joined the gym and looking after yourself. I too have joined the gym, and I think it makes me more determined not to smoke and abuse our recoverying bodies.
Well done and take care :)

Good work Meanie !
I'm only at 8 days and success stories like yours help me a lot !
Hey meanie. Congrats on your 6 months. I remember you. U may remember me as Lindag. Anyway great to hear you're still going strong. I'm at 116 days today and like you could murder a ciggy sometimes... But I won't! Well done!
6 months - well done. A legend in your own right. A full half a year! Excellent. I hit 7 months the other day, so Tiger must be 7 and a half or 8 months or something. Outstanding efforts all round.

It must be nearly 8mths now Meanie. Great to read you're doing and feeling so well. I'm also going to the gym now and trying to eat better, loving life!!!!! Glad to hear you're still the cranky dude! Well done
