My sister asked me today, "when will she have her sister back" I told her that I"m here & always have been. She told me that she wants her smoking sister back :(  Like me, she is also a smoker. NO!! hang on, UNLIKE me,,,she smokes. I have been smoke free for 6 weeks tomorrow. It hasn't been a walk in the park. Yes, I have been a biatch, but after lots of family drama, I'm still smoke free. My husband & kids are so proud of me but even more I am proud of me. YaY!!!  to all of us, well done & keep it up. xx

Wow, nice work! Sorry to say but hopefully your sister isn't getting her "smoking sister" back.

Families huh.... Amazing when you realize how much certain things and people trigger your habit. Well done and keep it up. I look forward to being able to say I have made 6 weeks!

Good work Margie, your sister will also see the light and will quit to and you will be her inspiration even though she may not say so. If she doesnt quit she will look at you as the person she would want to be. Well Done, your family need you. Gary

I must say, I found a similar attitude from some work colleagues who smoke. It was kind of like they didn't want me to quit because it would make them feel weak or something. But, after 50 days they don't even think of me as a smoker anymore. They can see that I have changed and I think it does make them feel weak and guilty. I can see it on their faces when I walk by them out the front of the office.
