nearly a month smoke free

I have almost gone 4 weeks smoke free, have been on Champix, must say I think they are the reason I have not had a smoke, but I have stopped taking them in the last 3 days as they have made me feel like crap, I have no energy, and no desire to get up and go.....even think I will quit my casual job, just hoping I can stay off the ciggies and the tablets.I have been getting up at 6 and going for a half hour walk, which I feel great about, but by the afternoon could have a nap....thinking its just because of the tablets, because since taking them I have not had one good night sleep, been off the tablets for 3 days now and have slept like a baby since.I feel very proud that I have not had a smoke for nearly a month, I just hope it continues.

Hi Chalmers,
Congratulations first of all! That's some amazing stuff right there! I hope you're sure proud of yourself :) I am! Maybe you could even treat yourself to something nice? I'm glad the Champix worked for you for most of the time...sad to hear about the tiredness lately. I would suggest to go and see your doctor (if you haven't already) cause it may well be one of the symptoms but just to check....And you can speak about other options to help you stay off. Actually the Quitline is good for that....they will have a list of options in case you want to replace Champix with something else?? Or the chemist has the nicotine patches/gum etc.... They're just some options...Thank you for sharing and all the best to you and for the remainder of your journey!
