30 days today! Woohoo! I got a lift to work this morning with a chain smoker - he had 3 in the car in the space of 40 minutes. It was disgusting. I will NEVER go back!

Sure every now and then a thought comes into my head that says "you'd like a smoke" but it's not real. I will NEVER GO BACK!!

I WILL NEVER GO BACK

4 days is great Laura - you're through the worst of it. It will just get easier from here. In my first days I counted in hours until I got to 120 hours. That was 5 days. Then I set a goal to reach 7, 10 and 14 days. Then started counting in weeks until today I got to 1 month. Now I will count in months and think of them as percentages of a year until I get to 12 twelfths. It's how I keep myself on track. Anal I know - but it works for me.

Hi Deb, I think we all inspire each other here. I don't think I would've gotten this far without reading everyone's stories on here and feeling the support from everyone. I still have a long way to go - I still have to fight. Can't be complacent or let my guard down.

I slipped up last weekend, smoking 5 cigarettes, this week the cravings have intensified and I am regretting my lack of willpower. Well done and keep up the good work.
