Its a new day
So yesterday i had a pretty miserable state of mind, but pleased to report that today is a new day and i am feeling much much better :-)
For all those out there like me still in the early stages, i think that remember tomorrow is a new day can really help when your having one of those really rough days..
Just also thought that i would add in a little story:
Last night i decided that it was time i came out of my shell and got out with my friends. I pretty much havent seen them since i quit (16 days ago) as i just wasnt really to be around smokers.
We went down to the club for dinner and of course as soon as dinner was finished, it was the dreaded smoke time.. Ill admit i was nervous, but i found a way to stop myself from wanting a ciggie at all - i sat next to the Ashtray. The smell was so unbelievably disgusting which i would get a whiff of every now and then that i could not possibly think about enjoying a ciggie.
A friend of mine also told me that seeing me quit is starting to inspire her to do so also. She said if i quit for 3 months then she will give it a go too. I still have a long way to go before i get to 3 months, but what a great motivation!! Not only am i saving my own life through quitting, but if i keep at it i can also try and save my friends!!
Have a great day all (hope my rant wasnt too long) :-P)

Hi, I had a slip up yesterday and had a smoke not sure why i was struggling so much all i felt was i just had to have one.I didn't even enjoy it, so yes today is a new day and i keep telling myself i don't need or want one.

Way to go Bubbleytoes. A good strategy! Just think, WE used to smell like ashtrays too!! OMG and we didn't even know it - HOW EMBARRASSING!
