It just gets better every day

Hi Everyone,
29th Dec was the day I decided to quit smoking to be quite honest I smoked way to much over Xmas and thought thats it..I must do something..I must say day 3 was the hardest day for me but since then it is getting easier each day.
I have read alot of your stories and I must thank you for all your words of wisdom along with the good days and bad days.
Now all I have to do is stay busy and stop eating..lol...any advice on that one...

Hey Guys thanks for the comments they give me hope that thoses kilos I am so worried about may be a thing of the past. Started going to the gym at 6.00am and walking for 30mins each morning and then going in the afternoon with my other half for an hour, so hopefully I can keep the kilos off and maybe if I am lucky lose a little bit more..lol..Can't believe how much better I am starting to feel in myself, by the bubz will try your snack suggestion sounds yummy...

I reckon give yourself a break, the increased food intake is really only short term, getting through the first few weeks of quitting and becoming a smoker is long term. It'll only be a couple of extra kg's and they should be easy enough to lose. Once you're feeling more in control and less in need of snacking as a substitute you can start worrying about food. The health gains in the long term are much greater. I find that tea and grapes help too!
