Boy are my emotions raw! 46yrs of age now enough is enough, time to grow up and see smoking for what it really is,a filthy disgusting habit that only brings harm, makes you poor and the government rich! I estimate a saving of $7500 by the end of the year,so my main incentive is to take my kids on a plane for a REAL holiday!

schedule 24 Jan 2012

Well you have overcome your first hurdle popcorn and you are on your way to a better life!! Big WELL DONE to you!!!

I have tried to quit soooo many times over the years but always fall back into the same age old trap of "I can just have a puff", which then turns into "I can just one smoke", then "I'll just smoke when I drink" before you know it, it's spiraled out of control!! But now on day 10 without a single puff!!

You need to stay strong and not give in and believe in your own inner strength - it can truly surprise you (mine certainly has)!! Take the time every morning to relish in your success from the day before and tell yourself over and over you can and will do it this time. Positive affirmations sound silly for a while, but eventually you start to believe them :-)

I won't lie to you (or me) it's going to be a tough road but we will be doing it together and it will all be worth it in the end. WE CAN DO THIS!!

Sending you hugs and strength xxx

Drives you just about insane sometimes cos your think your going crazy. But all in all it will all settle down and you'll be fine.

So keep staying strong, Just think how good your going to feel, You'll have more money, You'll have nice clean teeth and you'll smell nice :)
