I can't believe it was so easy!

At the time that I quit I had been a packet+ a day smoker for 30 years, I have now been free for 8 months and I'm really pleased I've found this way to share my story with you as it was so easy. I was perfectly happy being a smoker and very skeptical when a friend of mine said to me that she had the seceret to quitting and it was easy, of course I didn't beleive her, as I had tried years earlier to quit and not only did I not succeed I went through hell trying.
She gave me a book written by Allen Carr, it's part of his Easyway to quit smoking series but this one is titled "THE ONLY WAY TO STOP SMOKING PERMANATELY' It's amazing! I didn't believe that reading a book could make it easy to quit, but I told my friend that I would read it, and read it I did. Allen Carr encourages you to keep smoking all the way throughout the book, at the end of the final chapter I stubbed out my last cigarette through my almost full packet in the bin and never looked back. That same very night I was able to stand next to a smoker who was puffing smoke like a chimmeny, it was amazing the feeling of freedom I had, I had absoluteley no cravings and no feelings of deprivation what-so-ever, I didn't even miss thoes so-called special ones after a meal.
What about the old addage that when you quit smoking you gain weight. Thanks to this book I have not gained any weight, in fact, it's quite the opposite, with the extra engery that I have gained, I have lost weight. Allen donates a chapter to the weight gain problem and once you actually understand why this happens its very easy to make sure that it doesn't happen to you.
I hope this story inspires you to quit, it's easy! You don't need to go throught the hell of quitting with the will power method as I did once before, nor do you need to use substitutes....its easy! Goodluck!
