Well folks, just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year, keep doing what you're doing and it'll certainly be a healthier new year for everyone.

Thanks to all of you who have offered so much support and wisdom and put up with all the griping, whining and the reaching of numerous epiphanies (credit to Winner for that one). I've noticed that people have disappeared as time has gone on, some I know, no longer feel that they need support and others, surely must have gone back to smoking. No matter how long you've been around, if you're reading this... stick with it, this site is the best defence and the greatest support that you'll have in beating the evil weed.

I know I've cut back alot on my posting but I still visit most days to see what everyone is up to, I'm really proud of myself and everyone else and it's great to see that people are continuing to succeed.

Joined the gym yesterday, which took care of a hefty slice of the $1200 I've apparently saved since I quit smoking, the fast developing 'man boobs' have to go! I'm also on my second listening to Alan Carr, which I now find really therapeutic as I can nod approvingly and grumble unintelligellible noises of agreement like some inane politician, it really is worth a listen or read, even if you've already quit, in fact it makes a lot of sense.

Take care all and thanks again for your support.

Hello Meanie, I love this on-line community already. Thanks for the words of wisdom. Have found it totally amazing how much it matters to have people in your corner that have battled and succeeded - gives me so much hope and makes me aware that I'm not doing this on my own.

I admire you for what you've done and I will look up Alan Carr . Happy New Year!
