Well now day 50 smoke free

I quit smoking now 50 days ago. Honestly it is the best thing I have I done. I do not get the cravings for smokes now at all. The hard part from day one until now is trying to find something to with your hands. my advice is to sit on them a couple of times per day. Also find something you love to do and do that. I can be anything from watching tv to sewing. It is just something to keep your mind off smoking.

After a few days. But cravings did return for a few days in the third week. Have not had cravings since.

Good to hear mate, nice change from the usual complaining that fellow quitters keep posting!

Oh well On Sunday I am going off the patches. Hopefully I will be fine without them. After almost 2 months without smoking if I can do off then Now then there is something wrong. I have already had test runs without them and seem to have no cravings at all. Everyone that quits the experience is different some people find it very hard and others quite easy. This is my third or fourth attempt now and the best I have done. Anyone thinking about quitting. Just try to work out what is right for you. Get a support person if possible and go from there. There is no magic cure.
