Hard, Hardly, When giving up the smokes, the only thing harder is 'SMOKING'

C'mon guy's change the metaphor, if we look at the entire package process of smoking, it doesn't take much to see that all smokers are a slave to the cigarette....

when i leave home... did i get the smokes

when i'm running out... damn i need to get smokes

going to dinner... is it a smoking or non smoking venue

interview... hope their a smoker so they cant smell my ashtray breath

Once we make the phsycological shift in our minds, non smoking is a fun game with many many benefits!

As quickly as the cravings come, you can get rid of them, just keep trying different mind games until you find the one that works for you best and fastest.

Get yourself a new habit, hobbie, boyfriend girlfriend what ever it takes (within reason of course) the only part of my journey i dont like, is the fact that my partner hasn't joined me, and the irony in that is that she is the one that got the throat cancer!!!

Stay cool.. Be safe

I'm glad other people think like i do. If i left the house without my smokes i would stop and buy some. I also used to work out how long untill smoko break. It was awfull not enjoying where i was it was always about how long untill i can have a smoko break.

My masterstroke strategy is............... I forget!!! Seriously folks, I reckon all these years working with people with dementia and psychological issues has 'affected' me so to speak, it's contagious, so I think 'I want to smoke' then I think 'what was it I wanted to do?'...... hey presto craving gone! I should patent that one.
