DAY TEN.... Not long after....

Not long after posting my DAY TEN.... The cravings came on so strong.

All weekend, I was fighting to say no and very conciously having to walk away or think no.

I managed it.

Day 13, and I am still smoke free. Not sure where the stress came from after seemingly doing it so easy up to Day Ten. Hope whatever it was doesn't come back.

Great self control and willpower! I've been quit for 28 days now, and I too have had two incidents of stress where I've really wanted one (seems to come out of nowhere).. I think it's kinda of normal within the first month.

Great to here you are still smoke free, these are the times that show us we are really serious about quitting. Keep up the great work, its amazing how these stories will inspire others to keep going in the tough times.

Thanks Aymeric, Violet and Anzac71. I have been rewarded with lots of work both in my fire service company and at the fire brigade. Although the fire brigade being busy is not a good thing, it has all added up to great distractions from the cravings. Only a couple of times, and not so bad at all.

I am so happy I stayed away from the cigs so I can now say 15 DAYS SMOKE FREE! Keep up the great work everyone.
