I find it much easier, if I stay happy, and positive, and be patient and kind to myself, drink heaps of water, eat healthy

It does kind of become a trend of being more conscious of our health. It was trying a lung cleanser concoction of ginger and turmeric that I didn't want to smoke one morning, looked into a group and chose to quit smoking. BELIEVED and chose to quit smoking after 40 some years! I have lived, exercised and eaten better ever since choosing to quit smoking which is only a part of the overall picture of one's self.
Choose CHANGE and feel the difference.

Yes listen to your body and do what you feel does you good. I thought my quit attempt was going to be salads weight loss swimming 4 miles a week and 3 gym sessions too like the old days- my body and mind said- couch- sleep- rest- food food and more food 1 only do what you have to do until you are physically and mentally rested!
