Unexpected physical issues through weeks 10-12

Most of the withdrawal and recovery issues are well published and no surprise but at weeks 10-12 I started having excessive sinus drainage and mucus, sometimes bloody, build up in the back of my throat (Not coming up from my lungs). My Doctor assured me that this was actually a good indicator of tissue rebuilding throughout my upper respiratory system that may continue for several weeks. Periodic gargling with salt water keeps it manageable. Many folks experience this but it is seldom mentioned.

I never experienced this, but many of us experience different things in our bodies due to the healing process and changes this creates. Don't even think that one cigarette will help you or stop the bleeding. I noticed my sense of smell returning after awhile but that is all. Stay close to this forum and keep in touch with your Doctor regardless. NOPE (not one puff ever)

thats great if it is healing but i misdiagnosed myself and not all things are linked.
i think i will become a hypochondriac these days. however i don't want to panic with every little ache and pain. Any concerns should be addressed by a doctor to have piece of mind.
