So this Easter it will be 2 years since I Quit smoking. No cravings, no desire to smoke. Sometimes I'll smell it and think oh that's nice and other times think it's awful. I had a rough year or so due to having to learn how to cope with stressful situations without smoking but I really feel so free now. I get to finally live the life I'd always wanted. Lungs that let me jog and climb mountains. Better finances. Being a positive role model to my daughter. The list is endless and has made the difficulties worthwhile. Best advice that I was told was you only have to get through today. Tell yourself that every day.

Also, celebrate like you've won lotto every day. Don't wallow in self pity over losing your best friend like I did. Be proud of yourself and get excited for your smoke free future. If you can.

Wishing you all the best on your journeys. X
