I have lot count at the amount of times I have tried to stop smoking.

Today is day 2, see whether I can succeed this time.

I am using a tea spoon of cream of tartar in a glass of fresh juice, morning and afternoon, meant to rid of any nicotine cravings.

So far so good.

Don't knock it til you've tried it. I haven't heard of juice and cream of tartar, but did take a ginger/turmeric drink which I feel induced me to quitting smoking. Once I didn't feel like smoking, I joined a quit forum and began to believe that I really could quit just like others had.

Retraining the mind and embracing the journey instead of fearing it is a big part of it. Once I understood nicotine and how i became addicted, I also realized that the thought processes could be undone. Believe you can do it....because you can!

While you have stress air inhale and exhale. If you have vicks inhaler in hand which will be better. You can do it. V all r with you.

Like you Maxine I cannot count the number of times I have quit. The longest I lasted was 4 months. I am using Champix but I know from previous experience that I have quite vivid dreams etc. I am currently on day 4 and am feeling a bit headachy and tetchy haha but you were so honest about the number of time you had attempted to quit. Good luck and persevere.
