"Today is the tomorrow you talked about yesterday"
I chose this quote for my first one because it really strikes a cord with me. It is so easy for us to say "I'll do it tomorrow" & I am the QUEEN of procrastination. Part of my fight with myself is the fear of the unknown (How will I ever get through a work day with out smoking? That place makes me crazy!) I am working on this. I have gone a whole work day without taking a break, so I know I can do it. Another reason I have said "tomorrow" is because I get a huge sense of relief when I decide to buy another pack. I have learned that this is my addicted brain actually keeping me hooked on that damn nicotine & that's where that sense of relief is coming from. But man it's such a contradiction with my logical thinking.
Anyhow, before I go to far down the rabbit hole, this is my quote of the day. If anyone has anything to add, please feel free. I hope everyone is doing well & if you are struggling, keep reading stories, there are some very helpful people out here.

And here i thought that I was Queen of Procrastination! I kept putting off my next doctor appointment for about 2 1/2 years! However, when i decided to quit smoking, i did it ahead of my quit date. To me that seemed far easier than dreading the day and cutting down. (which is not advised because we will resume and smoke more.). Just do it and get it over with. After quitting I did go to the doctor and my results were amazing. All those health benefits they tout are no lie, those reasons alone are reason enough to quit. Don't put off smoking until things are out of control. Set a date and just do it!
I cant top that one Nuts, The other words you mentioned was "waiting for" and indeed I am waiting, waiting for tomorrow for you to start your non smoking journey with us themrsbear yesterday is gone so start a new one today or should I say soon.
