Music
I am the type of person that loves music. I listen to it whenever I get the chance. To/from/at work, cleaning, gardening, going on a walk by myself. Every song on my ipod has spoke to me in some way. So awhile back I decided to create a playlist of songs that motivate me to quit (it's a work in progress). I can tell you why each song made the playlist. Sometimes it was only one line in the song that really spoke to me, others it was a full verse or the chorus. I don't want to bore anyone with the details but if your'e curious go ahead & ask & I will happily tell you why a song made the list. So without further babble from me, here is my playlist:

Does anyone else have a motivational playlist? What's on yours? Any recommendations? I am always on the lookout for more music.

I also love music but are not familiar with these titles and artists.(Perhaps if i heard them) Stronger seemed familiar, and i was thinking the one with the lyrics "What doesn't kill you makes you STRONGER!" I however came up with the same title but is about fire. I am not sure if it is the one that you refer to, but I do find it would be sooo motivating. Get pumped and put the damn fire out, don't let it consume you til death, you are stronger. Make it your mission and see it through. The addiction had us pinned down to a point of acceptance and slavery, but now we have come alive with determination and obsession to win this battle. Love the lyrics!

This is just the first one. Thanks for giving me a project to hear and reflect on all the songs in your list Wendy. A Great and fun way to keep motivated! I may even exercise or dance to them.

I thought that there would have been more interest in your music as it was a great idea. I found the first ten songs were great, they must be your favourite. The next few weren't as good in my opinion, although the Stronger ones that both you and i found are very inspirational and catchy. It is nice to have a taste of new music as i usually have the radio on the same few stations. I hope you are continuing to do well and believe, you are stronger!
Thanks Happiness. I have fell off the wagon, yet again. I just cant seem to find a sticking point. But I am not giving up on giving up. I will keep at it until I succeed. I am trying not to be too hard on myself but I keep coming back to the same roadblock "Why can't I work as hard at this for myself like I work on things for other people?" I guess I still need to do some digging into this addiction & why I keep stumbling in the same exact way over & over. Ughhhhh so frustrating!
