Has anyone tried Herbal Quit Smoking Aids?

I came across some herbal remedies and was curious if anyone has ever tried any? I was hoping to find something like Champix that helped block the dopamine sensors, and took the enjoyment out of smoking for the 3 days cold turkey, but only after successfully altering the psychological and behavioral habits (90%) first.

Lobellia, or Indian Tobacco sounds promising, but unstudied . I don't see how if short term in can be worse than Champix, known for having side effects relating to anger, depression and even suicide. Of course you should ask you doctor if this could be worth a try for you.

I also found Zero Nicotine Patches, which has reviews. In all but one did the ones commenting seem to know that the patches would not work alone but in conjunction with a total quit plan. The only one who recognized the fact was a nurse . I am so glad i joined a quit group. They are invaluable.
