On line book which explains Addiction and Help to Quit (FREE)

Every quit is different. Knowledge is power. Quitting need not be hard.
I found a free site which allows you to read it all absolutely free. Although this site is for those wanting to quit without NRT's it is a must read for all to explain where you have come from and where you will be going and how to get there. It is a book. A whole book by John R. Polito who i gather founded https://whyquit.com/freedom.html . I clicked on Freedom from Nicotine , The Journey Home which i found under step 1.
Even if using an NRT, i hope you are not discouraged, but may continue to learn and strengthen your resolve to quit. Some may even find the courage to quit NRT's.
This site encourages the SMART TURKEY approach. Cold turkey may be ill planned and not knowing what to expect, whereas Smart Turkey is an educated, prepared version.
My quit was easier than most. See why others have a more difficult time through no fault of their own. I truly hope this site is of great help for you all.

(apoptosis) would no longer force them to live on, that at last they'd be permitted to die. 300 And a
new round of nicotine-induced angiogenesis did not riddle though and harden plaque build-up
within arteries, or accelerate tumor growth rates by providing them with a blood supply.301
Most importantly, we arrested our dependency for an entire hour. We traded sides of the bars. Our
dependency was now our prisoner, and we were the jailer.
Forget about forever, tomorrow or even two hours from now. All we control are the next few
minutes, minutes during which nicotine need not and shall not enter our bloodstream.
