It’s been 12months and 2 days, it’s not easy whatever path you choose. I found patches and gum really helpful. I now vape a couple of times a day (usually only if a craving occurs however I can now identify my stress levels and manage them without thinking of smoking). 40years of smoking is behind me and I look forward now to 40 years of being a non smoker. There have been times when I slipped up but I got back on the horse so to speak straight a2ay. Don’t let that discourage you.

Hi Kazzza, I am using a vap as well. I have nicotine in mine. Is that what you use also. I feel that I am pretty dependent on the vap now but I suppose better than smoking??

Anything is better than putting all that smoke and tar and poison in your lungs Vaping however has been reported to cause "pop corn lung". That doesn't sound pleasant, i would research your method of quitting.

I am aware that everyone is different and believes a certain method is right for them. In the end though if you want to get rid of nicotine why prolong the agony? Cold turkey is fast and cost effective. I am a Happy Non Smoker in less than 2 weeks. Yes, it can be done with the right mind set.l

Kazzza , you determination is admired. Keep up the good work fellow quitters.
