Well today I'm happy to say that I have completed my 12 week program on Champix. I have been one of the lucky ones who has really benefited from this drug.

I stopped taking the evening dose 3 weeks ago & didn't notice any change which was a good sign.

Just want to find out now from others that have completed the course & whether or not you noticed you any significant changes after stopping or felt you needed to continue with another 12 weeks.

Cheers!

Ronyag congratulations. That is amazing. I met a guy years ago who smoked 60 a day and he responded well and never smoked again after using Champix. I think addiction is something one has to be on their guard all the time and actively resist temptation and avoid temptation especially in the first 12-24 months. I've been a big relapser and what a shame. I think the fact a few of my relatives are very very sick has been the wake up call I needed. Take care and keep us up to date on your progress and strategies for staying smoke free. Well done. Great effort.

Thank you so much LizRokka. I actually haven't been on here for a while, but I'm extremely happy to say that today will be 16 weeks since giving up those horrible death sticks.

I'm doing fantastic!

A couple of Sunday's ago was my 100th day smoke free! My hubby & kids unbeknownst to me have been counting the days as well & took me out for a surprise lunch with a beautiful bunch of flowers.

That made it so worthwhile & has made me even more determined (even though I already am) to NEVER, EVER go back, not even for a puff. It would break my family's hearts.
