Hey Fernandez,

Wow congratulations to you!! Yeah, I've heard many long term people report cravings from time to time but that doesn't mean you want a smoke. In my opinion they are smoking memories. We know they aren't good for us and having a craving from time to time does not mean you're going to fail. You've got this and you'll get through.

I read someone on hear recommended brushing your teeth and placing a few cloves in your mouth. Perhaps some sugar free mints from time to time may help.

This is your journey and maybe think over how you got through all those other times.

I like saying to myself, "Not One Puff Ever (NOPE).

I also have a pump water bottle that I sip a lot on and find that if I can keep myself busy, those pesky cravings don't last.

Maybe even try getting up and walking for a bit.

Hope the tips helped some.

Hi Fernandez!! I think it's perfectly understandable to have cravings no matter how long it has been since you smoked. Smoking is what we DID.....to celebrate, to relax, to feel better, to relieve stress/anxiety/sadness/etc. I would suggest you are craving that kind of relief...perhaps not the cig itself. Maybe make a little note when it happens to see if there is a pattern?
