Go through the pain

Today I am 457 days away from my last cigarette and feel so grateful. When I quit at 67 after 53 years abusing myself with poisons I sort of knew this time I meant business.

My wife had had a triple heart bypass and detested everything about smoking.

In 2008 I had three heart stents put in and still carried on.

I always knew that cigarettes were self destructing but rationalized it in the most stupid fashion.

My tip. Ride the initial pain. It is not easy but rewarding.
