annoyed with the quit app!
I am unsure weather any of you guy's have used Australia's government quit app. I have it comes highly recommended. However the community updates take forever to load days in some cases and people are looking for real time support. I have written post telling everyone to check out this site as I find it amazing for support and they are never posted! one would think that when our own government is driving the prices insanely high $35.00 for a pack ( that is what I paid for mine ) when I refused to buy anymore, the add's on tv, health warnings on packets, making it virtually illegal to smoke anywhere in public that they would not delete or post messages of other supportive sites. I am at a loss for words as to why hey would do that but anyway not much I can do about it.
Hi Becca06. 513 days of encouragement on this site has worked for me. Do you really think the Government cares about your health. Why else would they be taxing smokers so heavily. Rubbing their hands with glee, knowing smoking is not a bad habit, but rather an addiction worse than cocaine. Smokers are merely filling the empty coffers...
Agree Lia, government does not give a st***f about people's health. They tax smokers hard because of the addiction and also to try to prevent public liability regarding passive smoking. I did not give up cause of the money but totally for my health and will not be doing any u turns any time soon. Bye for now.
