cause the Gov. is more addicted to nicotine than I ever was, they run a few ad's host a website which would be 1% of the tax they make of Tabaco products, get them to give up the money they make not going to happen.

that's right Lia and that's why this works because of us , nothing they did other than provide the platform, which is about all they can do.
really doesn't justify the price of tobacco does it, I don't care today how much it costs I don't buy any but for those that are , and a lot that are lower socioeconomic groups who are not happy with life smoke and so kids go hungry , it causes family brake downs and costs more than what they are making from the tax, on all sorts things related to the cost of family brake down, law costs consoling, mediation, yes tobacco and other drugs are just symptoms of dysfunctional society's, punishing those people for the position they find themselves in with huge tobacco taxes isn't going to fix the problem.
it goes way deeper than that and people out there are doing it real hard and so they turn to something for a moments relief that then makes their life even harder.
how do we fix it, smarter people than I have tried but it all boils down to money, and people having their basic human needs met, say like looking at Maslow's hierarchy of needs just as a guide if people are not fulfilling their potential as human beings they get frustrated and look for something to dull the pain, I would guess 80% of smokers are not having an easy life.
yes I maybe an idealist but we have to start somewhere and the Gov. we have today do not know how to fix our problems, all we have is band aid solutions they do not fix the problems they just try to treat symptoms and for the most part do not even under stand the dis ease.
