Don't do it!

I borrowed this from an article - "Introducing any amount of nicotine back into the system immediately ramps up the addiction. Relapsing immediately places the quitter back at square one in the withdrawal process."
So today its day 69 smoke free and nicotine free.
However bad it feels I really think I should not want to go back to square one in the withdrawal process. I'm going to lose all that time, all that work.
I'm writing this down because that is how I have justified remaining nicotine free today! This is to anyone who has got a decent amount of days behind them or even just a day or two, don't waste all the effort you just made to get where you are by picking up a cigarette or taking nicotine.

I recon you got that right and now 42 days for me I cant go through this again, so best not have a smoke today then hey :)
I am sure the further along and the harder its been the more respect we have for not smoking and that negates the urges when they come I know it does me.
so no bungas for me today :)
well done MC keep up the good work !!

I am drinking Ginseng tea at the moment. Not sure if its helping but it certainly tastes different to what I remember tasting as a smoker.

I hear this over and over again. No one wants to revisit day 1 of quitting. All that effort once achieved is not something to trivialize and pretend it is easy to conquer. Day 71 sounds like another good place to be... Hang in there. Enjoy the rest of the journey.
