My last day

Hi people my name is Nick, I'm 35 and have decided for a long time that I will give up, I did give up twice in the past and felt wonderful, but now I have to have a CT scan of my lungs and I have a lump in my right breast, after tonight smoking is no longer for me, I have 3 children and I don't want to go like this, I have been smoking since I was 13 and the last 10 years I've been smoking cigars, I now have asthma and struggle to breathe it's time to quit before it kills me

Hi Nick. Trust all goes well for you. Getting through the first weeks is the real battle. Treat cigs as an enemy that presently is your master and refuse to let it beat you. It is hard but gets easier. I stuffed on chocolate toffee eclairs at first which really helped. That lasted a few weeks but I don't touch them now. Good luck. Dobbin

Cheers Dobbin, to be honest I'm a little surprised... I gave up on the 1st Jan and I don't have any cravings and don't fell angry nothing..... I think it's because I'm so determined that I haven't let it bother me, not to mention I've started weight training, walking, swimming - both days so far and a balanced diet - I also gave up the hooch at the same time, I honestly couldn't feel better 😉 Thanx for the input Dobbin and I love the idea of the eclairs, I better not buy a packet, not good lol 😜
