"Giving up is easy,I've done it loads of times" Don't know who said it but its true! Staying stopped is the tough bit.Everyone finds their way, whether that means slipping up,like I did, loads of times until I just got fed up with the cycle of it.As Shia le Beouf says(I take all my life advice from Hollywood stars!) Just.Do.it.😊 x

Suppose for me being on day 180 smoke free & over $3740 not in an ash tray, that will hopefully keep me on track. Couldn't imagine what pathetic excuse I would give myself after all this time. There have been many times to crumble and since I still have half a carton in the smoking cupboard I do have a choice. Still choose to abstain but it is not easy. Any silly thought soon goes as I look at the journey of the past almost 6 months. It has been hard but so easy at the same time as I relish my successes. Intrinsic reward. Power to me...

You are doing just fine Shasha. You have literally run away from that horrible habit. There continue to be so many moments when we think 'Gosh, I'd love a ciggie right now'. The thing is, we did so much preparation and have put in so much effort to resist that tempting thought. Let's just take a deep breath, have a glass of wine, take a long walk and decide absolutely, definitively that we are not going to do do this again. It's all about new habits and we can experience joy, pain, angst, anger and relief without (to quote Nodrah) 'the stinking demons.

Good luck and stay as strong as you are.
