I had a torn lip from rollie papers sticking to my lip in the sun. I was in a psychiatric hospital. I told the staff I didn't want to smoke. They said I was far too stressed to quit and put me outside in the sun to smoke. They even supplied the cigarettes saying they knew I would pay them back.

Once I was at home again my nurse begged me to cover up the sore area and wear lipstick. Then I remember calling the quit line and getting advise. they said to wear the brightest colour I could get. If I smoked I would get the colour all over my hands. It would then be a reminder not to smoke. I continued to smoke and have had the legion bust bleeding. Since then I have had a $4,000.00 operation on my lip. It doesn't bleed anymoreand it looks quite pretty again. My Son kisses me on the lips for the first time. I must quit so my lips remain moist.
