Champix - Advice

Well I am now on day 5 of Champix. I have found it slightly augmenting my taste and enjoyment, but nothing significant. that said I've reduced my smoking a little without making a large effort. After 15 years of smoking and too many chest colds last year, I am determined to stop. I've set the quit date as day 14 on Champix to allow Champix to take its full impact. Apart from some sleep issues though, I'm not seeing any real side effects which is great. What have other experienced in this journey towards a stop date? How has Champix assisted you? Thanks :-)

I am using Champix day 15 smoke free...onto my second month of Champix. I do find they do give me really vivid dreams, which have not been as bad the last few nights.

My last attempt on champix, yes gave me really vivid dreams ( I enjoyed them) but the nausea in the morning after taking the tablet was not so good. But I managed to quit although yes I thought I could be a "social" smoker - WRONG- That was over 3 yrs ago so back to champix again for me
Good luck and remember the 3 month post champix period is when you dont feel like you need a cigarette and you believe that you are in control and that 1 or 2 wont hurt - DONT DO IT !! and Im not going to quit quitting till I've Quit
