Im ready for a new fresh start

Hi everyone, im nardz and i have been a smoker since i was 14, i will be 30 in a few months, so almost 16 years. I am on my 5th day of using champix to help me quit. Yes, i am still smoking but plan on completly stopping 1st jan 2014, where i will be throwing out anything related to smoking - ashtrays, lighters, filters, zig zags etc.  I have used champix a few years ago but found that it made me a little depressed so i stopped using the pills, i am hoping this time around it will work for me as i really want to quit, but so far so good. My reasons for quitting is to live a long and healthy life and to see my babies grow up, they are my main motivation to quit and also cause i spend way too much a week & would like to save that money to buy a car in 2015. But this is my new years resolution as well as a 30th birthday gift to myself :) & my story and i hope that it works out for the best. Has anybody else used champix and it worked for them? Also on what day of using champix did u stop smoking?
