Today's a better day

Yesterday was bad, after getting to day10 I have learnt never to get too cocky or confident, I have learnt that even though I feel good this journey will not be over quickly. I have to take it easy, day by day and be proud of each little step I make. Yesterday I decided to jump in the deep end and not put my patch on, big mistake, I was physically and mentally stuffed, I don't know why I felt like I let myself down, I didn't smoke, and I obviously need the extra help.So today I have learnt something new I have woken fresh and put yesterday behind me, back to positive thinking.I hope you all have a great day, can enjoy some sunshine and some spring fresh air. I certainly will!

What I did was not to put the patch on first thing when I woke try and stretch it out hour by hour later and take them off hour by hour earlier and try to get use to being where the triggers are without the patches on because you should be close to being over the habit now it's just the addiction to nicotine you need to control slowly

Hi Nic Succeed,

Well done on day 10, you are doing brilliant, your are very earlier in the journey and doing awesome. The trick is too take it slowly, one day at a time. You will get off days its perfectly natural too, there the ones where you need to focus more. But once you get through the rough ones , the positive ones have more meaning. You gain strength as you go along. Once the withdrawal to nicotine is gone, the rest is psychological, that all comes together.
