Day 3. Feeling strong about my resolve to finally beat the dreaded smoke. Thank you all for your support and advice I have used many of you tips to get me through these days. I am keeping busy and keeping a positive, determined mind set. I will do everything I can to succeed!

Hi Nic succeed, well done on day three! You sound like you're in the right frame of mind to get through the hard first week. Just keep buying yourself time, I found I could get through strong cravings by telling myself if I still felt as bad in an hour I could cave then, anything not to give in immediately. All the best with it, stay strong and keep posting!

Hi Nic Succeed, well done on day 3. That is really awesome. fight the cravings they do pass. Breathe through them, drink a glass of water until it is over. Reading the posts here will definitely help during a craving , it can sometimes help you focus on something else. Wish you all the best of luck for your first week... you can do this .
