After the rain comes the rainbow...

We finally got rain. We are looking at a Drought, farmers are struggling to water their crops and a taking it from the local dam which is now dry as a bone. It rained yesterday and the day before on and off, it rained last night, big drops so heavy. Rain brings new life especially when you live off the land, rain cleanses the land, it cleanses everything around you. I think about this and realise its just like me, like all of us who are going through this journey of quitting. We are cleansing our life, we are beginning a new life, you can see new life is starting. And if you look closely you can see the rainbow that comes after the rain (our struggle). It looks so beautiful and you will realise that even though at first you don't realise the rain is worth it, it is for all its goodness and when you see that rainbow at the end you know you have made it and it was worth it.
