My reasons for quitting
Every time I have an urge to smoke I think about my mom who has been diagnosed with metastized lung cancer it has spread to the liver,femur and lymph nodes it is not curable, she is going thru chemo has lost her hair and she is only on her third round of treatment,this wont make it go away it will just prolong her life hopefully. I also recently lost my father in law who also had cancer and his was removed he went thru chemo and 8 days after his last treatment he passed away from a heart attack they feel his heart just gave out probably from the havoc that chemo reaps upon a persons body.
you have had some bad news i wish you all the success with your quitting well all the best and have a smoke-free life.
Sorry to hear about your mum i know what you are going through my mum also had lung cancer which had spread to her liver and her bones,she didnt have the chance to have any treatment as she had passed away only one month after being diagnosed. That is a good enough reason for anyone to quit good luck with your mum.
I want to thank you for sharing. I've just had one of the worst cravings and was very close to going and buying a pack... your post really helped me to stay strong... THANK YOU and I'm very sorry about your parents. Both of my parents smoke and I'm so scared of losing them... I want to quit successfully and hopefully I can motivate them to quit also.
