Hi, today would have been day 8 except for my slip up, so will continue on. To anyone who feels like a smoke it's not worth it, I. Am so angry with myself for having that one which I didn't enjoy plus I felt like I've let everyone down who's supported me on here. I will just have to put it behind me and move on. So I hope you all still love me lol. Xx

hi humble, you are 8 day smoke free .... you had a slip up, it happens.... at least you did not keep going that is the main thing...and that takes strength. All I know is that if I had one I'd be back on them.... I kind of have become anti-smoking and quite hard on myself because I am scared to end up back on them. It is not easy thing to quit. do not feel put it behind you and keep going, one day even one hour at a time.

Hi Humble, It is normal to be angry with yourself, but now you can focus on not having another as you are, it's pretty amazing that you are able to continue on, that shows how far you have come. Not many people can slip up then try again straight away. Well done, also keep focusing on the fact you already did 7 days and only one slip up, now get back into it and don't worry about it. Keep trying :)

Thanks for the advice humble just in case i get tempted to have a ciggie its NOT WORTH IT. I have been drinking alcohol on the weekends in a social situation with friends who smoke but as yet have not given in to the dreaded ciggie. Pick yourself up and keep going with quitting as you were doing so well remember STAY STRONG and question yourself before caving in to the ciggie is it all worth it???

At least you know now how you will feel the next time you're tempted. Disappointed, let down and angry. You know you don't want to feel that way again. And you're not letting anyone down but yourself - we're all here to support you, whatever slip-ups you have. You're still here, still battling - that's what counts!

Thank you all for so much support, without it I may have gone back to smoking, like they say never quit quitting. Xx

Huh,,,,,,you had one cigarette and you didn't go back. Good for you. Be proud of yourself. Whenever I think to myself "I would really like a cig right now" I just tell myself "well tough luck you can't have one so forget it!" I am in control now,,,,,not the Cigarettes.
