Well, i cannot believe i've made day 8, i was so sure this time around I would have struggled but i havn't struggled much....I have really focused on keeping myself busy during the hard times, you know, the times when you sit and all of a sudden you get that little measage, JUST TRY ONE MORE, YOU"LL BE RIGHT..... so do I just forget about it, no way, I recognise that I am having a craving and that the only thing that is going to let me have that one smoke is ME. So the next step is to move on, remove myself from that little patch of dirt where I had that craving, i'll avoid it like the plague and get busy doing something else or something different, i've found that if you have a craving and overpower it by learning something new or thinking about something different your mind will engage in that new thought and the craving is quickly gone. For the past 7 days i've averaged probably 20 cravings, today I had 2 or 3, either my method is working or i'm going nuts, whatever it be i'm not giving in.

Well done Mr Golf,

also well said!! I think thats they key, identify the cravings for what they are, and basically move on, dont get too hooked up in the craving, They can do your head in if you let it,If you engage in it too much..

Anyway I hear what your saying loud and clear and I think you've got it.. Your doing excellent, day 8 wahoo...

Well done and keep posting

Whatever works for you to stop the cravings you keep on doing it. They will go away eventually and only surface if you let them.

Well done.
