Ashamed of myself

Hi I was going so good off till day 6, had one then believe it or not a packet. I regret it so much as I had never got that far before. So don't have one puff or one smoke as it leads back to smoking. I have learnt my lesson and will set a new quit date, I'm so angry with myself as I was so close and want to quit again before it get too bad. Thank you all for your support before hope not to disappoint you agin or myself

Hey there humble, honestly dont beat yourself up about it. Put it aside and keep on this journey. Please dont give up so easily. So what, you feel off this road. You didnt like what you did, how it tasted and how you feel about it.Learn from that and just keep on going.I think so many of us have done this in the past and just thrown in the towel and then are so dissapointed about the whole thing..Cmon, stand up, brush yourself off and get back on this horse. we are all here to support you..

I agree humble - big deal, doesn't negate those six days of heading down the right path. just hop back on board.
Humble get right back here and start all over again. As Gammy and Jack have said, put it behind you and start over. The sooner you do it the better as I feel if you keep smoking it may set you back more months than what you wanted.
We are cheering for you to get back here so don't keep us waiting.........lol

Thank you all for your support you've encouraged me to keep trying, as you said if I don't do it soon I will slip back into smoking. Will make my quit date this Sunday, be back on my horse n galloping.

Hi Humble,I had my worst craving on day 7,nothing I did would make it go away,so I had 1 puff of my friends smoke and lucky for me that was all I needed,I am now on day 72 still get a craving now and then but I can control it now,you will get back on track and you will win this time just don't give up,we will support you :-)

Thank you suzi it's so nice tho have good support, it's what makes me want to try again otherwise I'm sure I would have given up.

Talk about disappointment. I'm my third quit with Chamix and it works well.. I just get stressed watch my son smoke and well i did go almost a whole year before I smoked again and I've been struggling with a permanent quit for months now .. I'm back on the Champix day 8 the quit day and doing fine.. have not wanted one.. it always works for me .. but staying quit has been a problem for me.. but this time forever.. I want to see my grand kids grow up.. keep trying you'll get it right .. smoking is a strong addiction and hard to quit.. but it can be done I intend to kill the beast .. that nicodeamon is strong whispers in your ear.. well you can have just one ...

Humble, I agree with JackGarner, get back on board mate, we are all here to support you when you need it.
