Emotional

Hello everyone..... 8 day's smoke free ..... forgot the Champix going to work yesterday morning and again this morning ..... but got through both days thank god. Fierce emotional crying alot and have had the dreaded thoughts of 'one smoke won't hurt ' It was intense to say the least.... I kept noticing people on the street smoking. It was frustrating and I was in conflict . I refuse to let it get me..... trickery .... but I blocked it out with thoughts like , I have come so far , and I am so proud of myself for not smoking. It's an adjustment period. So to never giving up on giving up ..... and thanks to everyone for the support here ... think I may have overcome one of the early obstacles so keep on going ...... good luck to all hope all is good.... how is everyone doing that was starting this week I was chatting too?

You go girl, 8 days, great progress :)
And your so right Never give up on giving up. That old nicotine monster is forever lying there in the background ready to take over,
Good luck converse and keep up the good work xx

Hey everyone , thanks fort the comments and support... Dr Feelgood,Solo HR,Winnebago, well done so far on your progress it feels great to be a non smoker, skin hair teeth are all better.... stay strong everyone......

i am dreading my quit date i think keeping up the medication throught the whole course will be a vital step to completing the craving stages and nailing these life suckers. Hope yor journeys are filled with great surprises .

Hi Almina when is your quit date? I was the same it does get intense approaching the quit date, but once you get to one hour, two hours a day, and before you know it you are a non-smoker. The tabs are very good have been a massive help to me. The cravings will be still there, there are a few posts on this of people who are on the other side of the tabs ...so reading them will help.
